Ariff, m8. You helped me for 3 hours yesterday with my newly built computer. We tried everything under the sun to get my display to work. Resetting bios, different memory configs, messing with jumpers, complete rebuild... nothing worked. I was so upset. So I decided to turn on the comp and just let it run.

An hour later I wanted to play some xbox... turned on my xbox.. and it immediately appeared on my monitor... I scratched my head.. then slapped myself for you ariff. I had my monitor on component the emt

The entire time... should've been on vga.

yep! all squared away... just getting my windows 7 iso burnt to dvd... i mean, ubuntu is alright... lightning fast and such... but it just doesnt have all the apps/compatibility i need.
