NewDawn: Meet in Leeds ND and others (Community Boards

Last weekend Sat 4th Oct:

There was a meet up with some of the Planetarion Players in Leeds, most of them met up in Doncaster in Friday and went Paint balling (not my thing tbh so I gave it a miss)

the main reason was to celebrate with Spider his upcoming nuptials (the damn fool is getting married) not a bad idea given they just had a Baby.

All present and Correct were:
Me (obviously)
Spider
Sorcerer
Badd
Spider's Brother (also a player, but not ND)
and a host of spiders family and friends.

as i said they went paint balling on friday, and from what was said had a ball of a time (pun intended) Badd cam back knackered (he aint no spring chicken) but enjoyed it a lot.
As dis all the other guys, it was all they talked about on Saturday night.

Which brings us to Saturday:
We met up at Napoleons Casino in Leeds, had a sit down meal (£20 a head) including wine. All thanks to Spider, he was brilliant, great host and good fun.
The meal was good food, with a decent menu, I had the fillet steak, Badd went for the Medallions of Beef, but there was plenty of choice, rack of lamb, sea bass, pork loin etc...

The wine was flowing and the beer was swilling, good company and good fun.

We all had a flutter on the tables with a few quids (nothing huge) winners and losers of course, but the point was we had a good time, and enjoyed it.

I would like to thank Spider for a great fun night, and Badd for making it possible for me to go (he knows what that means).

As a bonus, Badd brought me a Roland E13 Keyboard that was his Daughter's to gift to my Grandchildren for Christmas.

All I can say is a great big thankyou, due to my current circumstances a gift like that is beyond my pocket, so it was doubly gratefully received.

A good night out, good fun, and good company.
