Hey everybody, I have been in ND for a few rounds now and have gotten to know that you are all a great and very generous bunch of people :)

As the title suggests i will be running the marathon this year. I will be running for CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA and have set the gargantuan target of raising £1500.

I have set up a webpage for people to make donations to this charity over the internet. It will take no more than 5 minuets to donate whatever you can/want.

Also, this is the first time i have attempted this distance so, if any of you have done this sort of thing before could you post any training tips that have worked for you, or any fundraising ideas you may have.

Some small training tips.

Make sure you vary your running distance daily.
So don't run the same distance every day.
You gotta train 6 outta 7 days, but not all long distance.
Make sure you dont do more than 3 longer runs per week.

So Monday, wednesday and friday do 10+ miles
Tuesday, thursday and saturday do 10- miles

Slowly build up your training distance.

A week before the race you wanna be running 20 miles.

if you dont make it, do we get our money back!

Flashy: my dad is a 50 year old marathon runner. He has been running them a few years now and has had some successes. I love me some marathons. I am broke as fuck right now, but am going to see how my parents feel about some donating.
