anyone play this game i want to know if its worth starting to play

i played it a bit a couple of years ago. if you're gonna play it you need to put a lot of time into it to get somewhere.. my experience is somewhere around 3 weeks just to get the hang of it (and get some essential experience), but the game has changed a bit since last i tried it.

concidering playing it again these days myself actually, even tho it demands a lot of your time.

Actually to progress in the game you only ever need a minute per day to put more skills into training :P

Do that for couple years then just start flying the biggest baddest ships around, assuming you have friends with money in there :P

I don't recommend it personally. Annoying game after the initial rush of coolness.

I refuse to comment on this, since i'm the biggest carebear around, so my likings aren't quite like other peoples :)

all opions accepted, i do like the game good graphics but yes it does take years to get anywhere so not sure if really should put time into it, a buddy mine started playing it so he got me to do a trial so kinda just checking it out and see if i should even bother playing it, some missions tho take forver in getting done

When i played i got a sponsor, try and and see if you can find a player that played for years so he can send you some cash and you can go buy implants ;)

yeah thats what i am trying to do but so far no luck

try pming a nick called speed on irc, he may stil play he was my sponser for a while but its not that a great of a game for me so :|

Just too much of a time sink. You spend hours just flying from location to location.

Been playing for just over 2 years... its good fun :) But you need to be patient before you get into the massive wars. Unless you go the Electronic Warfare route which usually takes roughly 6months.

yeah i have notice it takes alot of time to get anywhere but i am in a corp that has been helping me greatly i have only been playing since christmas and i have 80mill isk already but i think i have spent like 200 mill of it due to lost ships so i think the corp i am in is helping me immensly
